Mrs. Tomika L. Walker has been a dedicated K-5 educator for 24 years, inspiring students and colleagues alike with her passion for teaching and learning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Stillman College and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Kaplan University. Throughout her career, Mrs. Walker has served as a clinical teacher and mentor, guiding aspiring educators by modeling effective planning and instructional practices.
Her expertise includes designing and delivering professional development sessions on programs such as Go Math and I-Ready Math, as well as implementing project-based learning strategies that led to a 15% increase in math achievement among elementary students.
